"The will of God or divine will refers to the concept of God as having a plan for humanity, and as such desires to see such plan fulfilled."
Do people even understand what God's will is or mean??
Most religious people claim that "God Has a Plan" and that whatever God's will is, it's what they will follow. However, I find it ironic and wonder why when time comes for people to really accept God's wishes, they don't!
Here is a situation: A family goes to church religiously and one day, all of a sudden their child gets sick. The sickness gets worse and the child is soon to die. Well, obviously God's plan would be for that person to die, right?
Instead of accepting God's will, the family will take the child to the doctor and do everything they can possibly do to save that child's life.
Here is my question: if you're supposed to accept Gods will or plan and leave everything "in God's Hands", why take action? Why not let things happen according to God's plan?
Aren't people who believe in God supposed to be obedient to God's will? Aren't they supposed to be happy with God's decision, no matter what it is?
Also, it's been said that God gave us "free will" but still we're supposed to accept "God's will"...but if we don't follow God's wishes, we're doomed. Isn't this kind of confusing? How can one be condemned if he/she was given the option to choose?
I wonder what would happen if people actually let things go according to the plan...this is very intriguing to me!
